Cassie, after good food and proper care.

Description:
One of the latest babies to be added to the WRNT family is
"Cassie".
Cassie is about 2 years old and comes to WRNT with some pretty
serious allergies - or, at least, that's what we think at the moment.
Our Rescue Vet has placed Cassie on a regiment of good food, Malaseb
baths and some antibiotics. It appears that our little Cassie may
be allergic to fleas - which is not uncommon! In a new home she
will very likely overcome this minor problem, mostly because any good
Westie home doesn't welcome fleas!
Already - after just a few days in the care of our Foster Family -
Cassie is showing improvement. Good food, clean linens and TLC can
work wonders!
Here are the original intake pics which show some of what Cassie was
dealing with. As you can see, she's a pretty small little one -
and needs a home with lots of love and attention. Can you find a
place in your heart and your home for such a sweet girl?

UPDATE: Cassie,
now known as Bonnie, has found her Forever Home! She has a new
brother, Jake, to keep her company. Her new mommy says, "She
takes her medicine like a champ. She sleeps by my side and Jake
sleeps on the other. I feel like a piece of meat in a sandwich.
Both are just dead weight and neither wants to move. I want to
thank her foster family for taking excellent care of Bonnie while she
was with her. It is wonderful that the rescue has people like her
willing to give their HEARTS and time to these mistreated and sweet
little dogs like Bonnie." Looks like Bonnie has hit the
jackpot this time!
