Cotton's Intake Picture

Description:
Cotton is a 2 year old Westie who is a little bit timid when he first
meets you, but he warms up fast. He, like his brother Ashton, is a
small Westie weighing 14.9#. He's heartworm and fecal negative,
shots are updated and will be neutered 2-12-08. Both boys were
owner surrenders and very calm gentlemen. Cotton was adopted 3
days after entering our program.
One of Cotton's new family members was so excited to see Cotton's
arrival that he was waiting in the front yard for him. This time
next week it will be Cotton's turn to be excited to see his new best
friend arriving home from school. The love and compassion this
family is already showing Cotton during this frightening transition
period will allow Cotton to come out of his shell and show his true
Westie attitude.
His new mom says, "Thank you so
much. We think we may name him Nicky. He sometimes acts like
a Nicholas. But when he's playful, he's a Nicky. He slept
all night long on his back with his back legs up in the air. It
was so funny. Jud asked me at one point, "Is he dead"?
He didn't move all night long."
