Description:Devlin comes to WRNT from the Louisiana Westie Rescue group which, unfortunately, has had to cease operations. As is always the case, Rescue groups help their own - and we're glad to have this sweet little man in the WRNT fold. Currently being Fostered by a dedicated WRNT volunteer, it's increasingly clear that this boy needs an outdoor place to play and a little bit of "room to roam". Our volunteers don't have the kind of space this kid needs and we're looking for either a new Foster Home or - ideally - the perfect Forever Home. Devlin came to us with a very unique problem: He bit at his tail constantly. Initially diagnosed as a neurological problem - with no obvious cure - the result was that Devlin kept his tail in a constant state of infection. Normally we're adamantly opposed to any kind of cosmetic surgery for a Westie (such as clipped ears or docked tails) but with Devlin the only way to remove the problem was to shorten his tail - so that both the infected area, along with the problem itself - were removed. Little Devlin looks like a super cute (Just LOOK at that face!) Westie/Schnauzer mix....now that he's got a stumpy tail. He's a 5-year old waif with a mischievous streak a block wide. Devlin is definitely not the couch potato kind and and, as our Foster Family says: "He may run off with socks or raid trashcans if he gets bored!!" Ya gotta love that Westie-tude! Do you have a place for Devlin to roam - and room in your heart for this sweet little imp? UPDATE:
