Description:
Duffie is a sweet girl, very lively and affectionate, 2 years old, spayed, no skin problems and about 14-15 pounds. Duffie comes to WRNT as a home-2-home placement, meaning that she's still living in her current home, but WRNT is acting as her "agent" in finding her a new "Forever Home".
Duffie's only negative is that she is poorly housebroken, and also has a submissive/exciteable urination problem. These kinds of behavioral issues can often be redirected through attention to the cause(s) of the problem and a change in the environment. Given her young age, we believe these minor problems can be rapidly remedied - with a lot of love and a little patience
Duffie lives with a female Lab, and they play well together -- but Duffie appears to be the alpha. Duffie has been spending a lot of time outside during the day because of housebreaking problems, but is inside most of the time when her current owner is home.
Duffie is good with the children in the home, but has not been around a cat....so we advise caution here! Can Duffie rely on you to give her the love and attention she deserves?
UPDATE:
This little lady has found her Forever Family and, boy, did she win the jackpot! Our little Duffie - now Duffie Marquis - has a wonderful Mommy & Daddy who just dote on her. We're betting the rest of this little lady's life will be sheer perfection!
