Description:
Presley
came to Westie Rescue through someone who had recently obtained two
Westies that were going to be given to a shelter. They only wanted
one Westie, so they called WRNT to find Presley a new home.
Presley
appears to be a very healthy Westie with a few minor issues. He is
an 8 or 9 month old male. Presley's coat is very white and a little
curly. He is a very good looking Westie and appears not to have any skin
allergies. Presley doesn't like to go outside very long at all, and
he is a little skittish with loud noises and when he hears other
dogs barking.
Presley
didn’t stay in foster care very long. He has already gone to his new
Forever Home. His new parents are retired so they can give Presley lots of
attention. Presley also has a new sister to play with. Here is what his
rescued parents have to say about Presley:
"We
have now had Presley a month and he is a charmer. His big brown eyes
would win the heart of anyone. We are attempting to do all the
things one is supposed to do to train him......we have the clicker, the
liver treats, the whole nine yards. He has managed to destroy all of
Scooter's toys, one of my slippers, the salt shaker (yes, you heard that
right), one of the dog beds, and countless napkins. He has fallen into
the pool - which we knew would happen, and he never goes out without one
of us at the ready, as he thinks he can walk on water. At any time
you can walk (or climb) into the kitchen and find him asleep on TOP of
the kitchen table. He is a licker and a lover. Boy, can he cuddle.
We
think the "kids" are bonding. They stir it up regularly but
seem to have fun. In the meantime, Harry and I want to run away from
home!
Life
isn’t always perfect, but it sure is fun when you have a Westie pup
around!!!"
We all sure agree with that!!!
