Description:
Snoopy was surrendered to Westie Rescue as his owner passed away 5
weeks ago and the family is unable to keep him. Snoopy is 9 months
old. We will be taking him to one of our rescue vets - when he was
dropped off we were told that he has quit eating. We will also
verify that his shots are up-to-date and will neuter him.
Although he is not easy to photograph, his Foster mom sent us these
pictures. The first is before grooming and the second is resting
after grooming. A guy can only take so much! And, the belly
band I am wearing will keep me from marking and will minimize any
accidents I may have in my foster home. My foster mom is pretty
smart!

Snoopy is now in his Foster Home and is not currently available for
adoption. Check back to see his progress. If you think a
Westie puppy is in your future, submit an Adoption Application online

Snoopy has been neutered and proclaimed healthy.
April 22, 2008: Snoopy, now called Oliver, has found his
Forever Family. His new mom writes, "I have been laughing all
morning at this little guy! He is so funny! I am so
impressed with him. Last night when it was time to go to bed I put
him in his cage - it's one of the metal ones that is kind of open so he
can see out - I put his toys in there & his blanket. That
little cutie sat there for a minute & I wasn't sure how he was going
to react but I got in bed & after a few minutes he laid down &
went right to sleep!!! He stayed in there all night & didn't
make a peep!! I got up about 8:30 & took him straight outside
where he peed like a big boy. He wasn't too interested in eating
right away but eventually ate & then went outside to poop!
Such a big boy! We went for a walk and he was just curious &
sniffing all over the place, it was funny. Then when we can back
inside I had to get ready for work & he was being all feisty &
so funny with his toys. So far no accidents in the house - he's
been very good about going outside. I think he kinda likes my son
- he keeps going in his room to see what he's doing. I was glad my
son came with me to get him, Oliver sat in his lap the whole way
home."
