Description:
Hi, my name is Wilson. I was found by a kind lady as I was
wandering in a suburb of the Metroplex, looking for food and
water. She fed me and took me to an Animal Hospital while a search
was made for my owner. I had a bladder infection and they gave me
medicine to fix that. They also updated all my shots while I was
there.
Everyone thinks I am probably between one and two years old. My
teeth are very pretty and white. I am not a very big Westie but I
have a good heart, a gentle disposition and a lot of love to give.
I have been neutered and am housebroken. I even know how to
"sit" -- for a treat, of course.
Since I was on my own I needed a good bath and my foster home will be
taking care of that! I have two Westies to play with here in my
foster home so I am enjoying myself.
If you are interested in adopting Wilson, please submit an Adoption
Application today. Wilson can't wait to find his new home!
UPDATE: Here is an
update from Wilson. He writes, "I have enjoyed my stay so far
with my foster family. I had three accidents in the house
yesterday. We are still trying to determine if it is because I
have the bladder infection, if I like to mark my new territory or if I
have some small house training issues. However, I have been very
good about going potty outside so my foster mom thinks it is just the
bladder infection."
"Because I have been a very well behave boy, I went to watch
flag football games yesterday afternoon. I gained lots of
attention for Westie Rescue as my foster mom explained what happened to
me and where I can be located on the Westie Rescue website and
Petfinder! And again, I was very well behaved and did not have a
problem with lots of people and the noise of cheering and yelling.
I mind my manners while on a leash."
"I slept with my human foster sister last night and we are fast
friends! I went for a walk today and enjoyed chasing turtles and
playing fetch. I have also discovered the parrot that lives in my
foster home and I think it may be the most interesting object I have
ever seen!"
"Even though I don't remember my birthday, I think I may be
about a year, possibly a year and a half. Even though I have not
portrayed any puppytude, I feel very young. Here is a picture of
me with my foster brothers. From left to right it is Andrew, Toby
and me!"
