Harley comes to Westie Rescue with a number of problems - as you can
see, many of them involving his skin and coat. Our veterinarians
have diagnosed some severe problems with his skin, involving malassezia
(a common condition in mistreated Westies), ear infections and some
emotional problems.
Our dedicated Foster Family have been working diligently, over the
last few weeks, to restore our little Harley to health. Many
treatments with Malaseb and Oatmeal shampoos, prescription drugs,
working on his ears and lots of love have worked wonders.
Just take a look at these pictures and you can see what love and
attention will do.
Harley is just about ready for his forever home.....can you give him
love and attention this sweet boy deserves?
UPDATE: Harley has found that
wonderful Forever Family that every dog deserves. We're waiting on
the last set of tests and a final visit to our Rescue Vet and then
Harley will go Home. What a wonderful word for a Rescued Westie: HOME!
UPDATE: Harley has gone to
his Forever Home now and the boys are doing wonderful! They are
looking forward to finding another playmate for Harley in the upcoming
future. Perhaps another rescue?????
