Description:
This sweet little bundle of energy comes to WRNT - being surrendered
by a local family because of barking issues.
WRNT is extremely fortunate in that one of our Board Members (And
dedicated Foster Family) has significant expertise in controlling
barking and modifying the behavior of Westies. We are undertaking
a program of behavior modification, including proven techniques to
redirect the abundant energy that Kelsey was directing into her barking.
Kelsey was recently spayed and is recovering nicely. Our Foster
Family say she's a very sweet girl, who has a great personality but is
relatively untrained. Already Kelsey is learning to use the
"doggie door" and turning into a well-mannered little girl.
With a little more training and TLC from our Foster Family we think
Kelsey will make one fortunate family a very sweet addition!
UPDATE: Great
News! Kelsey's Foster Family just could not bear to part with her
and have adopted her! She joins Bonnie, Kallie and Scottie.
Her new mom said, "She likes to play all of the time and Bonnie,
Kallie, and Scottie take turns with her. Bonnie is her best bud
though, as they are definitely a kindred spirit. They run and
wrestle and roll around on the ground like they are 10 week old
puppies."
