Elite Suites in Southlake was THE place to be on Saturday, September 9th! All the hippest Westies were in attendance - as were 40 of their owners, friends and family. In addition to some absolutely wonderful goodies in the Silent Auction, there was enough food, wine and flavored Doggie Waters to impress even the most discriminating palate.
Felicia Fowler, of Trinchero Family Estates, served as our experienced and friendly sommelier, with a collection of wines for guests to sample. The event was a "Howling Success" - at least that's what the Westies had to say.
Elite Suites of Southlake donated their facility for the event and no better venue could we have found. If you've never visited Elite Suites you're really missing something. To a person, everyone attending the event agreed that the Doggie Guests at Elite Suites had it better than the nicest hotel in Dallas. Talk about swank! (At a price that's much more affordable than those glitzy hotels downtown, too).
Westie Rescue also thanks Whitney Harris for underwriting the cost of the event so that 100% of every dollar raised goes right to Rescue and ONLY to Rescue.
